What to expect at our worship service:
  • Please take a seat wherever you'd like in our sanctuary. If you have any
    special requests, ushers are here to help!
  • Children age 4 and up are expected to join their parents in the sanctuary
    for praise and worship; we fee that this time is great for children to see
    adults worship, and the kids have a good time too! At the teaching tie,
    after the announcements, kids will go to "Kids Church."

ENTHUSIASTIC PRAISE AND WORSHIP!
  • Our worship and prayer time is typically 45 minutes. We truly enjoy
    praising God, and find this to be a time of refreshment and excitement, as
    the Lord takes away the cares of the week and clears our minds so that we
    can hear what He has to say to us. Please join in with clapping, lifting up
    your hands to the King of Kings.
  • Tongues and Interpretation: If you hear someone speaking out in a
    language you don't understand, don't be alarmed. The gift of tongues was
    established in the Bible as a legitimate expression of believers in Jesus
    Christ. We expect that every time someone "speaks in tongues", that
    another believer will interpret this message so that we can all be
    encouraged by this message from God.
  • Prophecy: Another of the gifts of the Holy Spirit is that of prophecy; that
    means a message given to a believer for the congregation in the common
    language. Once again, this is to encourage the congregation, and was
    established in the Bible as a legitimate means of giving God glory.

OFFERING AND ANNOUNCEMENTS
  • This is the time where we glorify God with the giving of our tithes and
    offerings. Do you know that the only time we are encouraged to test God is
    with our money? He says that He gives us back our offerings "pressed down,
    shaken together, and running over". Now, we don't believe that this always
    means financially, but many people in our church have been blessed by
    acts of kindness, new friendship, baby-sitting, etc., because they faithfully
    gave of their gifts from God for the benefit of others.
  • We also let you know what's coming up in the week ahead, and often have
    someone from our church share their vocal or instrumental talents as well.
  • At this point, children go to Kid's Church, and the adults stay in the
    sanctuary to hear God's Word proclaimed.

BOLD PREACHING
  • When most churches are winding down their service, we are just getting
    started!
  • Our teaching pastors are enthusiastic, Spirit-filled people who are praying
    and seeking God's message for this church all week.
  • Expect to be challenged as God's Word is revealed and applied to our
    everyday activities.
